Auckland and Melbourne

The best part of Auckland was hanging out with Mark and Davenport.  I think the locals always provide better recommendations than the Lonely Planet or Frommer's Guide.  Auckland is a typical city and I wish I had spent more time on the South Island or Wellington.  But again, hanging out with cool people made the trip worth while.

Nothing to write home about with regards to Melbourne.  I was expecting a little more, but I was only there for 2 days.  Another typical city, but Oprah was there when I visited. No, I didn't see her, but I think it's cool that she was there during the same time.

Davenport/Auckland - I'm so happy that I had my headlamp with me!
